Job Description:

As a Junior Data Engineer, you will work directly with the Director of Geospatial and own data engineering for the soul of the system. You will have the opportunity to be a critical contributor to a first-of-its-kind system enabling the energy transition at scale and solve challenging engineering problems in the process.Responsibilities

• Clean, standardize, explore, and catalogue public and proprietary datasets before they enter an automated ingestion pipeline.
• Build on a proprietary join system by creating unique keys for disparate datasets.
• Refine and improve the data ingestion and analysis pipeline for vector, raster, and real-time geospatial data.Qualifications
• 1-3 years of experience building and shipping complex data pipelines in an enterprise setting.
• Demonstrated experience working with messy SQL querying, data standardization, and schema design.
• Personable and excited to work closely with customers in natural resources industries.
• Stack: GCP, BigQuery, PostGIS, Python.Preferred Qualifications
• Demonstrated interest in energy development, land use, mineral exploration, or similar topics.
