Volt is immediately hiring Manufacturing - Facilities Manager in beautiful Oakland, CA.

This is a Full-Time/Direct Hire opportunity.

Location: Oakland, Ca

Schedule: M-F, Flexible for maintenance/projects, occasional weekends. (9AM-5PM)

Compensation: $38-$42/hour (Flexible to Negotiate for qualified candidates)

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

About the Role:

A leading food industry company seeks an experienced Facilities Manager for their cold storage facility. You'll oversee all maintenance and operations, ensuring equipment reliability and maximizing uptime. Requires a proactive leader with facilities expertise and a commitment to safety within a cold storage environment.

What We're Looking For:
5+ years of manufacturing plant maintenance management experience (food industry necessary/cold storage preferred).
In-depth knowledge of preventative/predictive industrial equipment maintenance.
Experience collaborating with contractors and vendors on new construction projects.
Bilingual Spanish preferred

What You'll Do:
Maintain near 100% uptime on all equipment (production, warehouse, vehicles), focusing on cold storage equipment.
Develop and execute preventative maintenance plans.
Manage spare parts inventory.
Oversee facility systems (cooling/refrigeration, etc.).
Manage third-party vendors.
Maintain a sanitation schedule.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies.
Lead and mentor maintenance team.
Analyze data and report on equipment performance.
Manage the maintenance budget.
