Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Project/Program Manager for a contract position in CA(Hybrid). The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
We are seeking an experienced professional to manage medium to large-sized projects spanning across business areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project budgets ranging from $50,000 to $5,000,000 and overseeing matrix teams with 25 to 100 members.

Impact beyond area of responsibility and serve in interim leadership roles as needed
Ensure strategic direction of projects aligns with business unit goals and objectives
Consult and make recommendations to senior management/executives on significant issues
Interact with all levels, including senior management, to influence decision-making
Identify key business and technical issues, develop action plans, and implement solutions
Operate at a strategic business level, incorporating business and IT strategies within projects
Manage the design, development, and implementation of new or enhanced systems projects or programs, including:Assembling project team and assigning individual responsibilities
Developing schedules to ensure timely project completion and meeting interim deadlines
Communicating with internal and external parties on project status
Preparing reports for management review
Managing the scope, schedule, budget, and quality of the project


Ensure all phase gates and appropriate documentation are completed


Qualifications:

Health Care - 3 years
Project Management - 5 to 7 years
Problem solving and excellent analytic skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5-7 years of experience in the related area
Master's degree or clinical licenses preferred
Previous project management experience required
Health care experience preferred
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
Typically viewed as a specialist within discipline with broad knowledge of project management
College degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience


Preferred:

Planview Experience - 1 year
Medi-Cal Experience - 2 years
