Job Description:
A company is looking for a Valuation Specialist to appraise
jewelry and assist with insurance claims.
Key Responsibilities
Appraise jewelry for replacement value and provide supporting
research notes
Collaborate with Claims Managers and policyholders to gather
additional details as needed
Log time for customer billing and manage appraisal assignments
effectively
Required Qualifications
5+ years of relevant work experience in jewelry, such as with a
jeweler or appraisal firm
Bachelor's or graduate studies in a related field
Professional appraisal certification is a plus
Strong research skills and knowledge of jewelry pricing
databases
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
