Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist with at
least one year of inpatient acute hospital experience. Join our
team to make a meaningful impact on patients with cognitive,
speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Schedule
Tuesday through Saturday schedule is preferred. We may also
consider a Monday to Friday schedule with two Saturdays per
month.
Certification Requirements
SLP-CCC
BLS
Weekend Requirements
Every other weekend (EOW) commitment is required.
Education
Master's degree from an accredited speech pathology program is
required.
Job Summary
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide assessment,
treatment, care, and evaluation for patients. Your responsibilities
include gaining confidence and cooperation from patients, their
families, and other healthcare providers. You will adhere to all
regulations, codes, and policies to ensure privacy and safety while
delivering optimal patient care. Additionally, you will assist with
the clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serve as a
clinical instructor for assigned students.
Rehabilitation Services
Develop or implement treatment plans for issues such as stuttering,
delayed language, and swallowing disorders.
Complete patient evaluations and tests according to Speech
Pathology Standards of Practice and other standards as
required.
Develop and update the patient's Plan of Care (POC).
Assess and provide or progress treatment for patients per the plan
of care and established standards.
Complete all documentation related to charge capture according to
established standards.
Coordinate patient care effectively and efficiently with other care
providers and support team members.
Ensure compliance with department and organization requirements and
responsibilities.
Work flexible shift assignments, including different days of the
week and hours.
Assist with clinical supervision of assistants and aides.
Function as a clinical instructor for assigned students.
